Mission Statement
The Mission Support Directorate will provide the services necessary to ensure that all elements of the Auxiliary have the appropriate and most efficient tools to execute the missions of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary. This Directorate will ensure that the services rendered reflect those elements allowing our members to be the best prepared service organization in America.
Partnering with the National Board, the Mission Support Directorate will manage, maintain, and create the tools necessary to accomplish all missions, and communicate them to the members, in a timely manner, consistent with best practices established by the National Commodore for continuing Auxiliary support to the Coast Guard, the boating public and the members. Vision Statement
To support the National Commodore’s watchwords of “LEADERSHIP”, “PERFORMANCE”, and “READINESS”, the Mission Support Directorate will adopt it’s watchwords to guarantee the successful term of this bridge and the future of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.

CREDIBILITY The Mission Support Directorate will strive to maintain a credible image by providing the National Commodore, the National Board, and the general membership with products and services that ensure all elements of the organization are able to function at peak performance in all arenas.

INNOVATION Only through new ideas and methods of delivery can the Auxiliary membership be prepared for the ever changing environment of the Coast Guard and public boating needs. This Directorate is committed to exploring those concepts that will afford the members the most effective way of performing the duties of the Auxiliary.

OPPORTUNITY The Mission Support Directorate will strive to develop programs and services to enhance the experience of being a member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary, by providing new and more efficient business practices to optimize the capabilities of the organization.
